What is Three for Me?

Non-invasive Three for Me treatments from Skin Dermatology address the three primary reasons for dull skin (wrinkles, sun damage, and broken capillaries) within one treatment by using a combination of Cynosure®’s Icon™ 1540 laser handpiece and its IPL (intense pulsed light) MaxG® laser. Treatments are safe, gentle, and only take about 30 minutes.

There many lasers that practices use that are underpowered, not FDA-approved, not very effective, and may even harm you. At Skin Dermatology, we believe that patient safety is the most important part of providing any kind of laser service.

A cosmetic laser is a powerful device that can cause scars and burns if not used correctly. It’s of the utmost importance that your laser specialist is properly trained and has the experience to understand how a patient’s skin is reacting to the laser. Dr. Lamoureux has the education, training, tools, and experience to make sure that you’ll be kept safe and during treatment and be extremely happy with your results.

Three for Me Treatment Details

Dr. Lamoureux always provides safe, comfort-enhancing techniques. She allows plenty of time for the numbing agent to work, she ensures that you’re in a comfortable position for treatment, and cooling devices are utilized when needed.

Before treatment, your skin will be cleansed and numbed with a topical anesthetic. Once your skin has been adequately numbed, we will remove the topical anesthetic and give you protective eyewear.

Two gentle passes will be made over the treatment area. The first pass will be made with the Icon MaxG IPL device to treat facial veins, sun damage, redness, and discoloration. The second pass will be made with the 1540 laser handpiece to address wrinkles, fine lines, and scarring with fractional laser technology. This handpiece works by stimulating brand-new collagen production, which will eventually make your skin firmer, plumper, and smoother, reducing the appearance of wrinkles.

Treatment time is approximately 30 minutes. Although many patients see improvement after only one treatment, we recommend 1-4 sessions (spaced every 4-6 weeks) for the best results.

Recovery and Results

There is minimal social downtime associated with Three for Me treatments, although you may have some redness and swelling for a few days. You will likely see improvement after just one treatment, with your skin looking better and better over time due to the new collagen.
