What Happens at a Cosmetic Consultation with Dr. Lamoureux?
Our goal at Skin Dermatology is to make your visit as enjoyable and educational as possible. After check-in, our lobby has plenty of comfortable seating during your short wait, and complimentary refreshments are always available.
You will be provided our iPad based mobile kiosk to complete your check-in process. When the physician is ready to see you, one of our medical team members will bring you back to the exam room.
Our medical staff will take you to your room and prepare you for your consultation. After that, our Board-Certified Dermatologist, Dr. Alissa Lamoureux will visit with you to gain a full understanding of what your concerns are and your goals for any possible treatments.
She will discuss with you treatment information, expectations, any possible side-effects and show you pertinent before and after photos.
Our medical staff believes an educated patient is a happy patient, and they will give you all the time needed to answer any questions you have. You can expect that the consultation will last approximately 10 minutes, depending on the number of different treatment options being discussed. You will be provided all the information you require to make an informed decision with no pressure from our staff. The decision to schedule the treatment always resides with YOU.
