How Does the Treatment Work?

Treatment Details

WarmSculpting by SculpSure is non-invasive, and there is no need for any anesthetic. A trained technician will administer your treatment. You’ll lie comfortably in an exam chair while your technician places the device over the treatment area. First, you’ll feel a cooling sensation. The cooling technology helps keep your skin from feeling the heat of the lasers. When you’re ready, your technician will turn on the lasers. Many patients describe feeling a deep warmth as the lasers heat up and damage fat cells. During your appointment, up to 24% of fat cells in the treatment area will be destroyed. The entire treatment will last around 30 minutes. While the cooling technology will run the entire treatment, the lasers will cycle on and off so that you don’t feel too warm.

Downtime and Results

Because WarmSculpting by SculpSure is non-invasive and doesn’t affect the skin, you can immediately return to your regular activities with no downtime, although you may experience warmth, swelling, tenderness, and redness in the treated area for up to 14 days.

Over the next few weeks, your body will start to eliminate the damaged fat cells, leading to a more toned and tightened appearance.

Within six weeks, you should begin to see the results of your treatment with final results appearing at 12 weeks after your last treatment, as long as your body weight has not changed.

We recommend two treatments (performed in four-week intervals) be performed to see the best results.

Be sure to maintain a healthy lifestyle after treatment in order to keep your new appearance. Although the destroyed fat cells won’t return, if you gain weight, the remaining cells in the area may grow in size.
